B-HbA1c = glycated hemoglobin.
EUROHIS-QOL = EUROHIS-QOL 8-item index.
All pairwise comparisons p ≤ 0.0003.
Engaging in ≥150 min per week of moderately intense activities or ≥ 75 min per week of vigorously intense activities.
Daily consumption of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, unsaturated dietary fats, and white meat (poultry, fish) at least three times a week was considered as a healthy diet. Intake of the ideal level of each dietary component was scored with one point for a range of 0–5. The dietary metric was considered as ideal, if a score of 4–5 was achieved.
At least one chronic disease diagnosed by a physician.
All pairwise comparisons < 0.05.
