The following measurements were taken: (b) pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) fluorometry (nonphotochemical quenching (NPQ), steady state fluorescence F _s, and photochemically active radiation (PAR) are shown); (c) gas exchange (assimilation rate); and (d) spectral measurements (Chl fluorescence and transmittance).
