The disk diffusion assay results. The assays were performed by plating albicans 24D (5 × 10⁵ cells/ml) on the agar plates in the absence (DMSO vehicle alone) or presence of ED at the concentration of 8 and 32 μg/ml. FLC was used at 0, 0.5, 2, and 8 μg per disc, respectively. Each plate was incubated at 35°C for 24 h. Large and clear inhibition zones represent better antifungal effect.
