Comparison of T cell responses induced by mosaic and non-mosaic vaccines. (A) Schematic diagram of experimental protocol. C57BL/6 mice were inoculated with three doses of DNA plasmid intramuscularly every 2 weeks. Mice were bled 2 weeks after each immunization, and sacrificed 2 weeks after the third immunization. Splenocytes were used for assaying cytokine expression by CD4 and CD8 T cells following ex vivo stimulation with DENV or peptides. (B–G) Comparison of the average percentages of CD4 or CD8 T cells that express IFNγ, TNFα, and IL2.
