Table 2.

Inclusion criteria for patients in this feasibility study

Inclusion Exclusion
  • Age ≥18 years old at the start of the study.

  • Patient living in the pilot area (physiotherapist, GP or RP) of NPRL.

  • Having musculoskeletal pain that is (suspected to be) chronic.

  • Treatment aim of the patient is to improve functioning despite the pain.

  • Adequate Dutch literacy to complete the assessments.

  • Any suspicion of a medical (orthopaedic, rheumatic or neurological) disease that can explain the current pain (eg, rheumatism or hernia) complaints or that can be treated by sufficient therapy.

  • Any suspicion of a (underlying) psychiatric disease, for which psychiatric treatment is better suited, according to the expert opinion of the GP and RP.

  • Pregnancy.
