The relationship between luteinizing hormone (LH) “pulses”, observed in the peripheral circulation (open data points), and multiunit activity (MUA) (continuous trace) recorded in the mediobasal hypothalamus of two ovariectomized rhesus monkeys before (Panel A) and after (Panel B) anesthesia was induced with thiopental.
