HCV inhibits miR‐30e expression in hepatocyte and replicon (genotype 2a) cells. (A) Huh7.5 cells were left uninfected (mock) or infected with JFH1 for 48 hours. Expression of the miR‐30e gene was examined by RT‐qPCR. U6 RNA was used as an internal control. miR‐30e was down‐regulated in JFH1‐infected Huh7.5 cells. (B) Expression of HCV RNA from virus‐infected Huh7.5 cells was measured by RT‐qPCR. (C) miR‐30e was down‐regulated in Huh7.5 cells harboring the HCV genome‐length replicon cells.
