Example use case and work-flow of DOGMA. A newly sequenced genome is assembled and annotated with proteins and domains. It is compared to a set of conserved single domains and domain arrangements extracted from a set of reference species. The completeness score then reflects the fraction of missing domains in the new annotation compared to the core set.
