Panel a displays rates of lever-pressing during the CS for groups trained on the sign-tracking cue, whilst panel b displays rates of magazine entry (CS-PreCS measure) for groups trained on the goal-tracking cue (N = 32; n = 8). Administration of eticlopride (sessions 1–7) impaired rates of both lever-pressing and magazine entry. This impairment remained evident during subsequent drug-free sessions (8–12) in sign-tracking animals, but not goal-tracking animals. Error bars represent ±SEM
