Fig. 1 — Quantity of MAP DNA shed in the faeces. Gudair™ vaccinated (vac) (6 weeks prior to MAP exposure) and non-vaccinated (non-vac) sheep were either exposed or left unexposed (control) to MAP. MAP exposed sheep were grouped based on infection status (infected and uninfected), determined by tissue culture at necropsy. The quantity (pg) of MAP DNA shed in the faeces was determined by direct faecal PCR at 3 timepoints throughout the trial. * denotes groups significantly different to all other groups not marked with an asterisk (p < 0.05)
