(A) Intraoperative macroscopic view. (B, C) Necrotic fragments presented fatty degeneration features observable within the lymph node capsule without major presence of lymphocytes. Vital fragments, in contrast, showed typical lymph node architecture (D–F) and sometimes germinal follicles (F).
