Translocation of vesicles containing TRPM8 are modulated by calcium and channel activity. A, Absence of external calcium does not appear to affect normal particle arrival to PM. After stimulation there is not a significant increase of particles near PM, calculated as EFF. B, Increase of internal calcium levels after thapsigargin exposure increases the number of TRPM8-containing vesicles. C, Treatment with intracellular calcium chelator BAPTA-AM abolishes the menthol stimulated recruitment of vesicles.
