Magnetic biskyrmion. (a) Spin texture of a magnetic biskyrmion in the considered nanodisk resulting from a micromagnetic simulation (also presented in Fig. 5). The orientation of the individual magnetic moments is represented by a Lorentz transmission electron microscopy (LTEM) color scheme. (b) Close-up of the center region of (a). The biskyrmion consists of two overlapping skyrmions with helicities ±π/2, respectively. In the two panels only every fourth or sixteenth magnetic moment from the simulation is displayed, respectively, for better visibility.
