A–C, Western blot analyses showing the time-course changes in the phosphorylated levels of Akt S473 (A), Girdin S1416 (B), and NR2B Y1472 (C) in the DG. The DG of 8- to 9-week-old mice were removed 5 min, 15 min, or 30 min after fear conditioning. Control mice were placed in a conditioning chamber without shock and tone. Data are expressed as mean ± SEM (n = 5 mice per time point).
