Areas of significant correlation between fMRI and EEG responses from the EEG-informed fMRI analysis. BOLD responses of the aMCC showed significant positive correlations with the trial-to-trial variation of the GFP in two time windows: −750 to −500 ms and −500 to −250 ms before movement onset. Trials in which premovement GFP activity was larger were therefore associated with greater BOLD responses in this region of aMCC. Significant voxels were identified by a whole-brain voxelwise analysis using a corrected cluster-level threshold pFWE < 0.05, with clusters defined by a height threshold puncorrected < 0.001.
