Kisspeptin analogues regulate MMP-2 and MMP-9 expression in decidual stromal cells. Immunoblot analysis demonstrates (A) that the kisspeptin agonist KP10 decreased MMP-2 and MMP-9 protein expression in decidual stromal cells. (B) The kisspeptin antagonist KP234 enhanced MMP-2 and MMP-9 protein expression in decidual stromal cells. (C) Pretreating the cells with siRNA against MMP-2 (si-MMP-2) or MMP-9 (si-MMP-9) decreased the stimulation of cell invasion and migration by KP234 but scrambled siRNA si-ctrl had no effect.
