Reactions were carried out at 30 °C in 50 mM CHES/K+ buffer, pH 9.0 with 2.0 mM NAD+.
Reaction was followed by monitoring the oxidation 9 to 11 and conversion of 11 to 7 with excess YcjR present. The equilibrium constant of 11 to 7 was calculated as described in the text.
