An ROS scavenger restored AgNP-induced G1 phase delay in Candida albicans but not in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. G1 phase cell percentage was analyzed by flow cytometry in (A) C. albicans and (B) S. cerevisiae cultured in either the presence or absence of 5 nm AgNPs at the indicated time-points.
