Expression of hexokinase (HK) II is correlated with alpha subunit of pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDHA1) phosphorylation and clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) progression. (A) HKII, P-S293-PDHA1, and Ki67 levels were determined in the same patient in ccRCC tumor tissues and adjacent normal tissues. Representative immunohistochemistry (left) and statistics (right, n=10) results are shown. Normal and tumor tissues are indicated by N and T, respectively. Pathologic results were confirmed by experienced pathologists.
