PAK1 expression was correlated with CK19, while PAK4 expression was correlated with α-SMA and palladin. The expression of multiple proteins in six TKCC cell lines was determined by Western blot (A), and results were analysed and quantified (B) as described in Materials and Methods. The intracellular localization of CK19, α-SMA were determined by immunofluorescent staining in two selected TKCC cell lines (TKCC 15, 18) (C). The fluorescent images were taken using a Nikon fluorescent microscope at × 40 magnification.
