Representation of the cortical regions of interest—the function projection zone (FPZ) and lesion projection zone (LPZ)—on the right hemisphere of a control participant. FPZ represents the preserved visual field region and the LPZ represents the visual field scotomata in patients or the unstimulated visual field in controls.
