Distinct polarized recycling pathways for the TCR, LAT, and Lck. Upon TCR activation, TCR, LAT, and Lck are delivered from endosomal vesicles to the immune synapse through distinct trafficking routes. The distinct compartmentalization of these molecules within the endomembrane system is achieved through the combination of “classical” recycling Rab GTPases (Rab5 and Rab11) and individual trafficking regulators to achieve an efficient and accurate delivery to the immune synapse.
