Interaction of the wild-type and mutant polymerases with an AP-containing ssDNA. Assays were carried out as described in Materials and Methods. Representative SPR sensorgrams for binding of increasing concentrations (23–300 nM) of either the wild-type or the indicated PolXBs variant to the immobilized 3′-biotinylated oligonucleotide THF-11B are shown.
