Effect of ethanol extract of propolis on atherogenic index of plasma (AIP). Mice were given HFD, HFD + EEP at a dose 50 mg/kg or EEP (50 mg/kg) once daily for 30 days by a single intragastric application. Atherogenic index of plasma was calculated according to the formula: AIP = Log [TG/HDL-c]. Number of mice per groups: nine. *: Significantly different from the control group (* p ≤ 0.05). ^∇ Significantly different from the HFD group (^∇ p ≤ 0.05; ^∇∇ p ≤ 0.01).^▼ Significantly different from the HFD + EEP group (^▼ p ≤ 0.05).
