LMO4 palmitoylation (Palm) and inhibition of PTP1B activity are sensitive to saturated fatty acid. Hypothalamic PTP1B activity was increased 4 h after intracerebroventricular infusion of palmitic acid (A) (PA; 1 μl of 500 nm) or 7 d after an HFD (C).
