Altered expression of integrins in cytochrome P450 1B1-deficient (Cyp1b1^−/−) astrocytes (ACs). Expression of integrins was determined by fluorescence-activated cell sorting analysis of Cyp1b1^+/+ and Cyp1b1^−/− retinal ACs using specific antibodies as detailed in materials and methods. The numbers in the histograms show mean fluorescence intensity of the representative samples. Cyp1b1^−/− ACs were found to express higher levels of α₆-, α₇-, α_vβ₃-, and α₅β₁-integrin compared with Cyp1b1^+/+ ACs. Max, maximum.
