Effects of Z-3-HAC on (A) relative electrolyte conductivity (REC) and (B) relative water content (RWC) of the third fully expanded leaves in peanut seedlings under salinity stress. The seedlings were primed with distilled water or 200 μM Z-3-HAC twice. After priming, the seedlings were exposed to NaCl stress. At 7 days after the onset of salinity stress treatment, the leaves were excised and the REC and RWC were determined. Bars are the standard deviations (SD) of three independent replicates (n = 3).
