Effect of Rab8 on mGluR1a- and mGluR1b-mediated IP formation. Inositol phosphate formation in HEK 293 cells transfected with 1 μg of plasmid cDNA encoding FLAG-mGluR1a (A) or FLAG-mGluR1b (B) with 2 μg of empty pEGFP vector or GFP-Rab8. Transfected cells were treated for 10 min with 10 mm LiCl and stimulated with 30 μm Quis for 30 min in the presence of LiCl. Data were normalized for protein expression and basal IP formation. The bottom panels show relative mGluR1a and mGluR1b protein expression in GFP and GFP-Rab8 transfected cells.
