Effect of heavy/light repetition of training. The bars show the brain activity in the four brain regions found in the main experiment (Fig. 2). The bars denoted by the remote and recent trials indicate the brain activity estimated in the main experiment (Fig. 4C), whereas the other bars show the activity estimated in the additional experiment. In all four regions, the brain activity did not show significant difference between the recent trials following the heavy repetition of training and those following the light repetition of training. Error bar indicates SEM.
