Phase contrast microscopy shows the spheroid morphology of cardiac organoids (A). Cardiac organoids were fixed with paraffin and subjected to HE staining (B). The representative images show immunostained cardiac organoids fixed in paraffin. Endothelial cells within the cardiac organoids are indicated by CD31 (C). Cardiac myocytes in cardiac organoids were stained with troponin T (D). The presence of functional cardiac myocytes in cardiac myocytes was indicated by troponin T staining. HDFBs in cardiac organoids were stained with CD90 (E). Cardiac organoids were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and subjected to immunofluorescence staining with troponin T. The sample was observed with a scanning microscope under a ×40 oil lens (F).
