Negative values reflect a decrease in LRTC with age. All age group comparison effect sizes were based on a between-group effect with sex covariate except: *effect sizes based on a repeated-measures ANOVA since all subjects were measured on both occasions.

Based on between groups ANOVA since only a minority of the data consisted of repeated measures.
