Regression analyses for the prediction of weighted global network efficiency from age, and for the prediction of cognitive domain scores from weighted global network efficiency. N, Number of subjects; β, standardized regression coefficient; T, T value for regression coefficient; and p, significance of the regression coefficient. For the plot of age versus FA-weighted global efficiency, we used linear regression to remove the influence of sex and years of education from the weighted global efficiency values. For the other five plots, we used the cognitive scores (including processing speed, executive, visuospatial, language, and memory) that had been adjusted for age, sex, and years of education.
