Negative values indicate inhibition, while positive values indicate increases. Using the paired t test, statistically significant differences from control levels at p < 0.05, 0.01, or 0.001 are indicated by *, **, and ***, respectively; significant differences between the muscimol group and the bicuculline/gabazine group are indicated by §, §§, and §§§, respectively. Ru360 data represent the average of three concentrations. Changes in current source density are evaluated using negative currents representing the fEPSC; and positive currents representing the Ca2+-gated K+-current.
