Bruchpilot function in the mushroom body is necessary for ARM. A, The impairment of ARM by brp–RNAi is consistent with three different drivers for the mushroom body: OK107, MB247, and c739 (n = 18–43). All of these drivers have common expression in the α/β neurons. B, The impaired ARM by brp knockdown is significantly improved with the suppression of transgenic expression in the mushroom body with MB247–GAL80 (n = 14–42). This rescue is not complete, because ARM is significantly lower than the control group without any expression of brp–RNAi (p < 0.05 and p < 0.01 for OK107 and c739, respectively). Because the data are significantly different from the normal distribution, bars and error bars represent median and interquartile range, respectively.
