Even as the total fluorophore concentration of the sample increases, autoquenching at 5% DiD results in lower total fluorescence intensity. B: Results from A, normalized to equal fluorophore concentration (varying total lipid concentration). Autoquenching is linear from 0.5-5% DiD, at which point the dye is fully quenched.
