Changes in the level of Grp78, eif2α, and Chop mRNA expression in various regions of the brain from PD patients and control subjects. (A) The level of Grp78 mRNA in PD patients was significantly increased in all regions of the brain compared to control subjects (P = 0.0015, 0.0024, 0.0007, 0.0047 respect to brain regions). (B,C) There were no changes in the levels of eif2α and Chop mRNA in PD patients in any of the brain regions.
