Visualization of PACE-identified sex-specific resting-state network (RSN) modularity in females (left) and males (right) from the HCP data set. Using permutation testing, sex-specific modularity differences are confirmed to be statistically significant throughout the entire PACE modular hierarchy starting at the first level. Here, the results are visualized at first-level PACE, yielding two modules coded in red (module 1) and green (module 2).
