Whole leaf activity of G6PDH decreased 35% after illumination at 200 μmol m−2 s−1 for one hour. This represents the total redox sensitive G6PDH fraction in Arabidopsis leaves. Chloroplast G6PDH activity decreased 50% after illumination at 200 μmol m−2 s−1 for one hour. Samples were normalized by amount of chlorophyll added to the assay mixture. Assays were done with 5 mM G6P. Each bar represents the mean and error bars represent S.E. (n=3).
