DeepCCS neural network structure. The upper part, in blue, performs a series of convolution and maximum pooling steps to learn an internal representation of the encoded SMILES input. This representation is flattened and concatenated with the ion type to be processed by the lower part of the network, in orange, to perform CCS prediction through a series of dense layers.
