Effect of a siRNA transfection, b quercetin (10 and 30 μM), and resveratrol (10 and 15 μM) treatments alone or in combination with Hsp27 siRNA on caspase-3 activity in U-87 MG cells. Caspase-3 activity analysis showed that siRNA-mediated silencing makes U-87 MG cells more vulnerable to apoptosis upon quercetin or resveratrol treatment, while siRNA transfection alone did not induce apoptosis. The most effective apoptotic activity was observed in the RSV15 + si2 group.
