VvSWEET4 expression levels in hairy root lines. Relative expression was measured 2 weeks after subculture in control lines transformed with the A. rhizogenes A4 strain alone (A4), the A4 strain with empty vector (pBin) and lines transformed with 35S::VvSWEET4 (VvSWEET4_OX). Transcript levels of VvSWEET4 were normalized to grapevine GAPDH and EF1α transcript levels. Relative expression indicates normalized expression levels in VvSWEET4_OX lines compared to normalized expression levels observed in control lines. Results are mean ± SD of three biological replicates.
