HepG2 cells were cultured in the presence or absence of compound 1 (100, 300, 1000 nM) for 24 h. (A) The expressions of cleaved caspase-3, caspase-3, cleaved PARP, total PARP, Bax and Bcl-2 were measured by Western blot assay, with β-actin serving as a loading control. (B–E) The relative expressions of cleaved caspase-3, caspase-3, cleaved PARP, total PARP, Bax and Bcl-2 were normalized to β-actin.
