Values were obtained by averaging over all trials and subjects. Because the data show mean values over trials and subjects, we provide the SE (error bars) as a measure of the error in the estimate of the mean. Significant differences are indicated by *p < 0.05 and **p < 0.01. The negative gaze–finger lead time in depth for the tracking condition means that gaze lags behind finger position.
