The black and gray lines/bars represent the errors of the discrete and the rhythmic movements, respectively. The data were averaged across all participants, and the dash lines and error bars represent ±1 SE. The bar graphs show the residual angular errors calculated by subtracting the baseline error. The horizontal lines above the bar graphs indicate statistically significant differences. As was shown in Figure 1, the averaged data also demonstrate the almost full adaptation transfer from discrete to rhythmic movements (B) but only a small amount of transfer from rhythmic to discrete movements (D).
