DNMT3a is elevated in PDAC patients and predicts poor prognosis. (A) Representative images of DNMT3a and Ki67 protein staining in normal pancreatic ductal epithelium and PDAC. DNMT3a was localized within the cytoplasm and nucleus, while Ki67 was localized within the nucleus only. Both DNMT3a and Ki67 were elevated in PDAC tumor cells. Scale bar: 100 μm. (B) Univariate Cox regression survival analysis and the log-rank test indicated high DNMT3a (left) and high Ki67 (right) expressions were associated with poor overall survival.
