Progression of root colonization by green fluorescent protein (GFP)‐tagged isolate of Verticillium dahliae in transgenic Arabidopsis (OE) and wild‐type plants (Col). Representative images of conidiospores were taken at 24 h, 12 days and 21 days. The red arrow points to the accumulation of V. dahliae in the vascular bundle.
