An overview of the GAL (Genome Annotator Lite) workflow. Three different types of data can be provided as input to GAL: unannotated, partially annotated and fully annotated. Depending on the input type, GAL determines the type of analysis needing to be run on the data. GAL has the unique capability of creating a database schema if it is not present already. It can also download shared resources from public databases, parse the data and upload them into EumicrobeDB.
