Interacting proteins are substrates for MAP1 hydrolysis. (A) Coomassie brilliant blue‐stained sodium dodecylsulfate‐polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS‐PAGE) analysis. The symbol ‘+’ indicates that ATP or MAP1 was added to the reaction system, and ‘–’ indicates that ATP or MAP1 was not added. The symbol ‘*’ indicates that individual protein substrates (MAP1‐interacting proteins) were denatured before being added to the reaction system. Two protein bands in the reaction system of C3HC, C2H2 and PrePL are marked with arrows. (B) Western blot analysis. Equal amounts of protein were loaded in each lane on one gel. Porin1 (Por1) was used as a loading control. The experiment was performed twice, and a representative blot is presented.
