A) Salience network encoding (regression coefficients from the first-level ICA timecourse modeling) of negative prediction errors during the reinforcement learning task also decreased with the severity of early life trauma as measured by the physical, sexual, and emotional abuse subscales of the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ), particularly for social stimuli. B) Salience network activity (regression coefficients from the first-level ICA timecourse modeling) during facial emotion processing increased as a function of early life trauma on the CTQ, particularly for fear faces.
