Zn uptake velocity in three points of the stem and petiole of Phaseolus vulgaris whose roots were exposed to (a) 100 mg Zn L⁻¹ and (b) 1000 mg Zn L⁻¹. The uptake velocity decreased from lower to the upper part of the stem, except for ZnSO_4(aq) at 1000 mg Zn L⁻¹.
